Jammu Tour

The Jammu Province is a distinct division within the State of Jammu and Kashmir, often mistaken for its namesake city. Comprising ten districts, including the city itself, it spans an area of 20.36 square kilometers. Situated amidst the outer hills regions, the province shares close ties with the neighboring states of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh in India. Three significant rivers traverse the province: the eastern region is graced by the River Tawi, while the western side is flanked by the Jhelum River. Additionally, the River Chenab originates from the mountains and courses through the plains near Akhnur town, meandering through the Jammu district before flowing into the plains of Punjab, Pakistan.
